Foreløpig er listen over spillere:
Torstein
Magnus
Fredrik
Håvard
Starter loggføring av fortet i neste post.

We’re running out of booze. I think the dogs might be stealing it. Other than that, I think I’ve gotten a hang of how things are done around here, and am ready to start the people’s revolution. First order of business, make some booze. Then it’s time to start up the iron industry.

And the mason’s gone strange, and locked himself in his workshop. He works furiously behind locked doors. Or would, if he’d gotten time to build them before going wonky. So we have a potentially crazy dwarf, no locks to trap him behind, no cage to put him in, and no guards to detain him. This will go well…
To his credit, he did make a rather nice table. A bit to spiky to be actually useful, but nice nether the less.
Ustuth ’Gnaskar’ Sholidurvad, 27th of Obsidian, year 6
Now it’s the carpenter’s turn to go strange. Guess it has something to do with being construction workers. At least we’ve made doors for him. Or not. Urist McMason, why are you smoothing stone when you should be building furniture?!
Ustuth ’Gnaskar’ Sholidurvad, 2nd of Hematite, year 7
The Broker is too busy hauling in wood to talk to the elven traders. I don’t blame him.
Ustuth ’Gnaskar’ Sholidurvad, 17th of Hematite, year 7
I’ve instigated a major collection of gems, digging out every visible cluster anywhere near our fortress. This should be a decent influx of profit for our colony, allowing us to finally make some profit when the next trading caravan comes by.
Ustuth ’Gnaskar’ Sholidurvad, 27th of Malachite, year 7
More immigrants. We’re up to 49 now. What do they all do? Sit in the great hall, apparently. Lazy working class fools with no useful skills. I should set them to work in a gulag somewhere, making profits so I can finally build my throne room.
Ustuth ’Gnaskar’ Sholidurvad, 29th of Malachite, year 7
By the beards of the ancestors, what have I done? I have become the very establishment I sought to destroy. I’m stepping down from rulership, effective at once. Let someone else take the burden of leadership.
Spring ~ We arrived at the site of our new fortress at the beginning of Spring, we didn't waste much time surveying the area, but immideately started digging into the mountain. It seems there are some gems in the ground here as we found some in the rock where we made our entrance.
After digging out a room to be designated as temporary meeting hall we proceeded to dig a storage right next to it, so it can later be converted to a functioning trading depot, as well as digging a staircase downwards in hopes of finding soil.
While we were carrying in our supplies from the caravan to the new stockpile, a Tigerman came by and caused a small disturbance, there might be more in the area, we should be cautious of this.
We found soil northwest of the staircase, we dug out a small area and set up a farm here. We've also started digging out a space to have some workshops under the staircase... it seems the farms are quite a distance from the main staircase, maybe we should arrange the kitchen areas and the dining room to be near the farms instead of beneath the workshops.
Summer ~ Workshops completed, i've also assigned a temprorary office to be built on the top floor for me, it might be moved later, or expanded upon, i've not decided yet. We're also to begin work on food facilities next thing.
Digging a couple of levels down from the food areas we've planned dormitories there, spreading out in a simple pattern, hopefully 12 rooms should be plenty for when we get some immigrants..
Would you look at that, immigrants... bringing their kids along.. what we need is a working fortress damnit! Not a kindergarten! At least the dining hall (which is now our new meeting area freeing up our previous one for a trade depot) is soon to be finished, just gotta move the tables and thrones in (and clear out the rocks, and scrape away those walls). Dormitories are on their way soon enough.. though they'll need expanding.
Autumn ~ Okay, so we've got primary workshops up and running, a kitchen, a still a dining hall, a trade depot is on it's way, the dormitories are being digged out as we speak.
Forget needing bigger dorms, we need bigger everything bigger farms, bigger dining room, bigger dormitories.. i don't really know where to start! They keep sending us more and more immigrants, which keep bringing their damned pets! We have dogs running all over the place, and their puppies crawling everywhere else! Maybe i should butcher some of them... but nodoby likes to eat dog really.. *sigh* I'll start with the farms, then move on to space.. At least we have a lot of farmers, though we now have to make room for twenty dwarves instead of the previous thirteen.. I'm sure i'll manage somehow. One of the new Immigrants, calling herself "Gnaskar" has declared she's gonna "clean this place up".. I'll leave the planning to her and see what we get
